The Modern Sandbox is unique and perfect for small kids in backyards and patios with little space. The #sandbox is 2’x4’ and stands 18” off the ground so kids can play without sitting or standing in the sand. The sandbox has a removable, lightweight lid with handles to allow kids to play freely around the box and closes tight to keep rain and critters out.​​
I used pressure-treated lumber and then finished with a primer and finishing coats of exterior paint or stain. The Modern #Sandbox doesn’t take up much room in your backyard, can easily be moved, and converts to an outdoor table or chest as kids age.
