The Modern Sandbox is unique and perfect for small kids in backyards and patios with little space. The #sandbox is 2’x4’ and stands 18” off the ground so kids can play without sitting or standing in the sand. The sandbox has a removable lightweight lid with handles to allow kids to play freely around the box and closes tight to keep rain and critters out.​​
I used pressure-treated lumber and then finished with a primer and finishing coats of exterior paint or stain. The Modern Sandbox doesn’t take up much room in your backyard, can easily be moved, and converts to an outdoor table or chest as kids age.
