Larissa has a #butcher block table that has been in her family for decades. Unwilling to relegate it to storage or a garage sale, she and her husband decide to give it a second chance and a new lease on life. After trying to bring it back, she Googled for a local craftsman with restoration and refinishing skills and found Custom Wood Creations.

After sanding with high-grit sandpaper to remove swirls and stains, we applied food-grade mineral oil, followed by #Howard Mineral Oil & Natural Wax. The mineral oil penetrates and prevents hardwoods from drying and cracking, then beeswax is applied to help make the surface water-resistant and rejuvenates its luster and natural golden color.
